The Tudor Poison Plot

When twelve-year-old Nicholas arrives at bishop Fisher’s home in London, 1531, alone and desperate for work, he is first mistaken for a spy. Given a job as a kitchen boy, he soon realises that secrets, threats and intrigue swirl around the Bishop’s house.

After a dish of pottage is poisoned, one of the Bishop’s staff is taken to the Tower of London and awaits a dreadful punishment. Worried that the wrong man is being accused, Nicholas and his friend Meg set about investigating the matter themselves. Will they solve the mystery of the Tudor Poison plot before it’s too late?
