Norah’s Ark Launch
I spent the launch day for Norah’s Ark at St Ninian’s High School where I had lots of fun talking to the new S1 pupils all about the characters and plot of the book. We played ‘Cost of Living Snakes and Ladders’ in order to understand more about some of the issues that Norah and her father faced, and looked at some of the ways each of us have things that help and hinder us in life. We also held a ‘guess the behaviour’ picture quiz to see if the audience knew as much about animals as Norah and Adam in the book! We finished the launch off with signings and bookish chat in the library – a very big thank you to the lovely staff and pupils at St Ninian’s for making it such a special day.
